Why Get a Colonic?
Colon hydrotherapy, commonly known as colonics, is a holistic alternative therapy that assists in the release of fecal matter from the colon. The warm, purified water loosens material and stimulates the natural peristalsis (movement) of the colon for easier release from the body. Colon irrigation has been practiced in many cultures and countries since the time of Hippocrates, it is not a trend.
Introducing LIBBE
Purify Colonics & Wellness only uses the LIBBE (Lower Intestinal Bottom Bowel Evacuation) open colonic system. The LIBBE is an FDA registered, Class II medical device that gently introduces warm, carbon-filtered, UV sterilized water into the colon through a pencil-thin, single-use, disposable rectal nozzle, inserted by the client, 1 & 1/2 to 2 inches into the anus. The pressure, temperature and flow of the water are all safely monitored by an I-ACT Certified Colon Hydrotherapist throughout the 45 minute session to ensure a discreet and comfortable colon cleanse.
The LIBBE is equipped with a ventilation system that removes all odor from the room, as well as a clear viewing tube that allows the client and therapist to easily view the released waste for evaluation. The client's modesty is protected at all times.
